Duncan Jackman
Duncan became Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of E-L Financial Corporation Limited in 2003. At the same time he was elected also Chairman of the Board of The Empire Life Insurance Company and its sister company, Dominion of Canada General Insurance Company.
He is also Chairman and CEO of Economic Investment Corporation and United Corporations Limited, Managing Director of the Fulcrum Investment Company Limited and a member of the Boards of Directors of several public and private companies.
Prior to assuming these leadership roles, Duncan was an Investment Analyst and then a Portfolio Manager at two major securities dealers. He graduated with an Honours B.A. in literature from McGill University in Montreal before spending a year in Paris, France as a journalist with ID Paris.
Outside the office, Duncan enjoys chess, fencing and scuba diving.

Dawn Lunan
Dawn is a member of the Community Living Toronto Board of Directors. She is a Certified Financial Planner and worked in the financial industry for 15 years. Currently she is the Project Coordinator for a Disability Ontario Online Resource for youth with disabilities, their families, health care professionals and educators. She has also worked as a Family Facilitator at Bloorview Kids Rehab, as part of the Growing Up Ready project. Her eldest daughter, Paige, who has an intellectual disability, is an inspiration to Dawn in both her professional and volunteer work. Dawn was co-Chair of Community Rocks: The Diamond Year in 2008; we are very happy she has lent her time and experience to co-chair the event again this year.
Ron Dekker
Ron is CEO and President of Connex See Service Inc., Canada's leading independent provider of wired and wireless communications networks.
Ron previously served as VP Alliances & Business Development for Tandberg, now the #1 global video communications company, where he identified and engaged new market opportunities that are delivering the Company's next generation of innovation and growth.
Prior to Tandberg, Ron founded and served as CEO and Director of OneConnect, Canada's first and market-leading IP services provider. Prior to OneConnect, Ron was President & CEO of Ericsson Wireless Internet and before that, President of Williams Communications Canada (TTS).
Ron has extensive global experience in telecommunications markets, specific skills in management and strategic planning, and a proven track record of delivering strong leadership and profitability.
Ron is a member of the Young President's Organization (YPO International), a charter member of the Academy of Technology CEO's (AceTech), a Director at Esna Technologies, and served for the past 6 years on the Board of Directors for the Children's Aid Foundation. He recently joined the ConnectAbility Board at Community Living Toronto.
